Our client, Stewart Signs, is one of the UKs best established and most successful applied visual branding and graphics companies having over 60 years of experience in professional project planning, flexible volume manufacturing and managing a nationwide application service. They collaborate with clients all over the world to create beautifully made solutions for outdoor advertising, trains, ships, vehicles, offices, retail and the leisure industry.
They are now looking for a dedicated Project Specialist to join their team in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh. You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of project delivery through all aspects of set up, production, installation, reporting and sales support. You will be collaborating with the Projects Team Manager any progress, project matters, budget tracking and service success enabling sales to develop further opportunities.
Project Specialist, day to day duties:
- Communicating project expectations and responsibilities with all team members
- Managing project risks, documentation, forecasting, variances and solutions in line with key stakeholders
- Continuously improving the overall performance of the project delivery
- Supervising the Project Plan ensuring all parties are fully informed of progress
- Co-ordinating project meetings and recording actions/details accordingly
- Using appropriate company tools and processes required to manage projects effectively
- Monitoring project costs and consequently maximising budget
- Managing customer enquiries and satisfaction levels – acting as a first point of contact
- Establish and maintain effective project handover, wash-ups as well as timely invoicing
Project Specialist, ideal applicant:
- Previous experience in a service delivery/manufacturing environment is essential
- In-depth, practical knowledge of project coordinating
- Understanding of the manufacturing schedule
- Maths and English to GCSE C level or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Analytical and intuitive problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and responsive with excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding communicator (both written and verbal)
