Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, the role:
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Conduct MOT testing (or undertake training if not currently qualified)
- Complete repairs to a high standard within agreed timeframes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Keep up to date with evolving vehicle technologies
Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, the person:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- MOT Tester qualification preferred (training available if required)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with both colleagues and customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
