Our client, Building Futures Ltd, is a growing property investment and development business focused on transforming tired and underutilised properties into high-quality homes across Dublin. Built around a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ambitious growth plans, the business combines investment, refurbishment and operational delivery within a fast-paced environment.
They are now seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day finance operation across a growing portfolio of property entities and projects. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across bookkeeping, project cost tracking, cashflow reporting and property finance, with genuine opportunity to grow alongside the business.
Bookkeeper, the role:
- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities and SPVs
- Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices and credit notes
- Completing bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers
- Monitoring refurbishment and renovation costs by project
- Maintaining acquisition, disposal and fixed asset records
- Supporting payroll processing and employee expenses
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and reporting
- Supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Supporting process improvements and finance administration across the business
Bookkeeper, the person:
- 23 years bookkeeping experience within an SME or owner-managed business
- Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
- Experience using Xero, Sage or similar accounting systems
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet capability
- Exposure to project costing or refurbishment accounting
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / CPA Ireland
- Understanding of Irish VAT or property-related finance processes
