Our client, MSX are the leading UK specialist in bonded warehousing and bespoke services for the travel retail industry including brand owners, airports, airlines, cruise ships and ferry operators in the UK, Europe and beyond.
They are now looking for an organised and energetic Fulfilment Coordinator. You will take ownership and accountability of stock levels by planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting thus driving profit growth and business value, whilst meeting customers' needs and expectations.
Fulfilment Coordinator - the role (including but not limited to):
- Support the Stock & Fulfilment Controller with the effective, efficient stock ordering process and customer needs such as seasonal changes.
- Analysing, communicating and fixing any inefficiencies within Stock Ordering processes and procedures.
- Closely monitoring stock levels being sure to take into account lead times, minimum order levels and best before dates, ensuring maximum efficiency when purchasing stock and the management of consignment stock.
- Working with the Stock & Fulfilment Controller and various clearance houses to reduce loss of revenue; clearing short dated stock before expiry dates are reached.
- Improving and developing the Order Processing systems, policies and procedures to ensure the Company achieves its objectives and rectifying any inefficiencies and/or problems relating to supply.
- Working alongside the senior/executive managers to enhance the broader view of the Company as a pro-active member of the Business Development team.
- Providing operational information and recommendations that drive the growth, value and development of the Company in line with objectives and successfully implement recommendations to ensure positive outcomes.
- Driving excellence in customer service and building strong levels of communication to enhance customer relationships with the Company.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the Management Systems.
- Gain a full working knowledge of HMRC guidelines with particular reference to notice Section 196/197, to ensure any business is legally compliant.
- Other ad-hoc duties as necessary to support the Stock & Fulfilment Controller in their duties.
Fulfilment Coordinator - the person:
- A good standard of general education (minimum five GCSEs or equivalent, grade 4-9 or A-C).
- Previous experience in a similar or transferable role involving a combination of administration and effective communication would be ideal.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Outstanding ability to multitask with a positive can-do attitude.
- Capable to prepare well written letters and emails - exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to spot issues before they arise and suggest solutions.
- Confident and proactive in the client-facing environment.
- Can balance and prioritise conflicting demands while maintaining good judgement and a sense of perspective.
