Our client, ABC Education, is an award-winning alternative provision tutoring company supporting disengaged children and young people across over 40 local authorities in the UK. They specialise in providing bespoke, learner-centred education for students who require a more flexible and personalised approach to learning.
Due to continued demand, ABC Education is now seeking experienced SEND Tutors (QTS) to support learners across the Dorchester area between EYFS and A-Level.
Responsibilities:- Deliver personalised Maths and/or English tuition to students with SEND
- Create engaging, project-based learning programmes to support re-engagement
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs
- Complete session reports and provide clear feedback on student progress
- Work in line with safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience
- Experience working with learners with SEND, including SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references
- UK-based with the right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
