Numeric Accounting is a modern and expanding accountancy practice with offices in Wiltshire and Hampshire. As the business growsthrough acquisitions, client demand, and an evolving offeringthey are looking to appoint an experienced Practice Accountant to strengthen their team and help support both their clients and junior team members.

Accountant, the role:

• Take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax advice and financial insight.

• Lead client advisory services, helping business owners better understand and act on their financial data.

• Prepare and review year-end accounts and tax returns to sign-off level.

• Oversee and support junior staff, reviewing work and offering development feedback.

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients as a key point of contact.

• Identify and implement process improvements internally and externally, including trialling new accounting tools and apps.

• Support the wider team in driving growth and continuous improvement across the practice.

Accountant, the person:

• Prior experience in a UK accounting practice environment.

• Capable of independently preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.

• Comfortable leading client conversations and delivering commercial insight.

• Strong team player with a supportive, positive mindset.

• Forward-thinking and open to modern systems and practice technology.

• Proficient in cloud accounting platforms such as Xero or QuickBooks.
