Role Overview: Assistant Gym Manager responsible for member experience, team development, and business growth at PureGym.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an excellent member experience with a focus on service standards alongside the Gym Manager.
  • Support the Gym Manager in attracting new members through outreach and community events.
  • Recruit, develop, and supervise a team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches, and Gym Instructors.
  • Manage an engaging group exercise programme and optimise the GEX offering.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for fitness staff.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive workplace culture and retention of both staff and members.

Qualifications:

  • L2 qualification in gym instructing and experience teaching group exercise.
  • Passion for fitness and wellbeing, embodying PureGym’s values of feeling good and doing the right thing with resilience, confidence and integrity.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to help the team reach their best.
