Are you an experienced sustainability professional looking to make a real impact? A leading engineering consultancy is seeking aSustainability Lead to drive business growth and expand their presence across the European market.
Based inLondon (Hybrid – 3 days in the office) , this role offers the opportunity to lead strategic business development initiatives, forge key client relationships, and contribute to high-profile sustainability projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a vision for market growth, enhancing brand awareness across the UK and Europe.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry events and conferences to build a strong network.
- Provide expert guidance on sustainability regulations and international best practices.
- Lead technical deliverables, supervise and mentor team members, and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Travel flexibility to support business development efforts.
About You:
- 10+ years’ experience in sustainability or a related field.
- Degree (BEng/MSc) in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Science, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, TCFD).
- Experience with ESG qualifications, carbon accounting, and sustainability certifications (LEED AP, BREEAM, etc.).
- A track record of driving business development and growth.
