The Role
As Packaging Designer, you’ll create visually compelling, commercially effective packaging across a diverse portfolio of leading fishing brands. You’ll ensure products stand out on shelf, communicate clearly to consumers, and remain consistent with global brand standards, while adapting designs for EMEA markets. You’ll also support wider creative output including product catalogues, campaign toolkits, POS materials, and localised marketing assets.
What You’ll Do
- Design packaging concepts and final artwork across multiple SKUs
- Adapt global designs for EMEA markets (language, legal, regulatory requirements)
- Prepare print‑ready files and manage production handovers
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams
- Liaise with printers and external suppliers to ensure production quality
- Maintain strong consistency across packaging systems and brand guidelines
- Contribute ideas to improve sustainability, usability, and shelf impact
Requirements
- 3+ years’ packaging‑focused graphic design experience (FMCG or consumer goods preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and brand work
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of print production, dielines, materials, and colour management
- Experience working across multiple markets or international brands
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience in outdoor, sporting goods, retail, or lifestyle brands
- Interest in sustainable packaging
- Experience with DAM/PIM or artwork management systems
- Understanding of shopper marketing and retail environment
