Job Summary: We are looking for a Digital Trading & Merchandising Manager to shape our online merchandising strategy and bring our product range to life across multiple brand websites in the EMEA region. This role is key to maximizing trading potential, product discovery, and conversion through data-driven insights, customer understanding, and effective onsite presentation. You will work closely with marketing, sales, forecasting, and creative teams to optimize the online user experience, path to purchase, and channel growth, ensuring our brand shines at every digital touchpoint.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supporting the D2C roll out through product set up and merchandising.
- Owning ongoing refinement of product pages, categories and site navigation to support user journey, trading and conversion.
- Supporting demand planning to drive availability and trading performance.
- Forecasting product demand by brand to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Delivering product launches, brand campaigns, and seasonal trading opportunities to provide the best online experience.
- Identifying commercial opportunities across best sellers, under performers and emerging consumer trends, buying patterns to lead decision making.
- Collaborating with performance marketing to optimize user journeys and conversion via enhanced PDP and category pages.
- Working cross-functionally with brand marketing, sales, and forecasting to align stock availability with campaign delivery.
- Leading online promotions, sales events and seasonal trading moments to support clearance and end of life product sell out.
- Identifying performance tactics that drive conversion and translating this into clear merchandising and trading actions.
- Developing visual merchandising strategies for each product category and brand.
Role Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in digital merchandising or forecasting for an ecommerce site or online trading role.
- Currently in a visible and influential role within a growing online business, able to shape trading performance and make a real impact.
- Experience with Shopify and Matrixify is highly advantageous.
- Excel proficiency for reporting and analysis is a must.
- Experience working in a brand with understanding of delivering creative standards and consistency in product presentation.
- Strong understanding of campaign execution, consumer touchpoints, and conversion optimization.
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Numbers-driven and results-oriented, embracing a “fail fast” approach and adapting strategies to achieve goals.
- Collaborative, approachable, and an effective communicator across digital, creative, and commercial teams.
