The Role

This role is within a commercially focused and responsive environment, providing data driven support for decision making. Reporting into the Senior FP&A Manager, this role involves providing accurate and reliable business information directly and quickly to colleagues across EMEA, across all areas of the business from sales and marketing to product development, human resources, purchasing etc. The business is evolving quickly into new and rapidly growing retail channels. EMEA wide reporting and analysis is constantly changing to suit the decision-making needs as the business continues to evolve and grow. This business partnering position is dynamic, changing the measures and reports needed to control business performance, as well as appraising business projects and investments as they occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and financial reporting tools
  • Analyse regional and legal entity profitability, including profit walks and shared cost allocation
  • Build financial models to assess business scenarios (optimistic and pessimistic)
  • Support sales reporting and commercial decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions to drive value
  • Support budget and forecast processes, including working capital and Opex variance analysis
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets by channel, aligned with customer and product forecasts
  • Deliver inventory reporting, including excess and obsolete analysis
  • Provide detailed performance commentary for monthly and quarterly results
  • Analyse bought costs to improve efficiency and generate savings
  • Support sales and marketing teams with promotional and advertising analysis
  • Assist with month-end close activities, supporting a 3-day working close

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ analyst experience, including 2+ years in a finance role
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Proven experience building and adapting financial models
  • Background in Consumer Goods, ideally with Ecommerce, Business-to-Business, and Direct-to-Consumer exposure
  • Experience with Power BI, Qlik, or similar BI tools
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP and consolidation tools is an advantage
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Able to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-country environment
  • Experience working across Europe and with multi-currency environments desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
