Role Description This is a full-time on-site General/Manufacturing Operator role located in Newry at Pure Engineering Group. The Operator will be responsible for full-time machine operation (loading/ unloading), secondary processing of parts, communication with team members in office & production floor, and pre-assembly tasks to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. The Operator will utilise various methods of sheet metal preparation & fabrication and will be expected to be able to bring material in, debur, cut and make to size as per instructions as and when necessary. Good housekeeping & organisational skills required. Once parts are processed, they need to be sorted by job. Parts are kept in mobile trollies and transported between subsequent workstations. These trollies must be kept in order and include a copy of all manufacturing drawings for the job within. The workshop office must be notified of any missing drawings. The punch machine will need to be kept in tidy order and cleaned around on a weekly/ daily basis. This includes cleaning the floor around the area & emptying parts & chip bins in the machine. Training on the operation & maintenance of the machine will be provided. Please note we would be willing to take on a HLA studying Mechatronics, that would like to be more hands on.
