Now, we’re looking for a high-energy Head of Global Marketing (Maternity cover) who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and drive impact from day one.
The Role: As Head of Global Marketing at Pure Electric, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global brand strategy, ensuring consistent marketing execution across all markets, and driving brand growth through strategic campaigns and activations.
- Brand strategy and insights: Develop and execute the global brand and campaign strategy for all markets. Own the full-year global campaign calendar, ensuring alignment on activation priorities. Oversee global consumer insights initiatives to understand target audience and key customer segments. Working closely with Head of Creative, coordinate new product launches and manage global partnerships. Collaborate with the Head of Creative to define messaging hierarchy, brand guidelines, and tone of voice. Coordinate and deliver campaign kits for NPD launches and global campaigns, including imagery, copy, videos, retail assets, social media content, web materials, sales decks, product cheat sheets and training modules. Approve messaging on consumer-facing assets, packaging and manuals. Lead global point-of-sale strategy (tier strategy, pricing, sourcing, briefing artwork, coordination), ensuring brand consistency across all markets.
- Distributor marketing activation: Onboard and engage local markets to ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies. Conduct fortnightly calls with regional teams to review performance and plan future activities. Coordinate the delivery of all necessary marketing assets to all distributors. Consult on localised execution opportunities and approve all local content and activation plans.
- UK channel activation: Work closely with the UK channel teams to activate marketing strategies across all channels, including retail, web, email, PR and paid media. Collaborate with Head of Creative to execute PR, influencer and organic social programmes in the UK. Oversee the UK trade marketing strategy and develop successful activation campaigns in collaboration with retail partners.
- Budget and resource management: Own and manage the brand, trade marketing and distributor marketing budgets. Ensure budget efficiency across global and local marketing initiatives.
What you bring: You’re a commercially-minded brand leader with a strong track record of building and executing impactful marketing strategies across international markets. You combine creative intuition with data-driven decision making and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Strategic yet hands-on – you’re just as comfortable shaping long-term brand positioning as you are rolling up your sleeves to get a campaign live. Globally experienced – you’ve led marketing efforts across multiple markets, understanding the balance between consistency and localisation. Commercially astute – you bring a clear understanding of how brand drives growth, and how to align marketing initiatives with sales outcomes. Driven and resilient – you bring energy, adaptability, and focus to a fast-moving environment, and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo. Customer-obsessed – you’re always thinking about the end user, and you ensure every campaign, asset, or partnership is built around their needs and mindset.
