Your role: Manage Chinese supplier relationships for your components, travel internationally for technical problem-solving, and drive improvements through hands-on testing and validation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical)
  • BLDC motor or eMobility battery experience highly preferred
  • Mandarin language skills - advantageous
  • Willing to travel to China/Asia
  • Hands-on problem-solver who wants real responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Development & Engineering: Take ownership of specific powertrain components and systems under supervision. Get hands-on immediately with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of BLDC motors and battery systems. Learn by doing - dive into fault-finding and diagnostic work on real e-mobility products. Build expertise in brushless DC motors, battery management systems, and e-mobility powertrains through practical work. Own test protocols for your assigned components with guidance from senior engineers. Drive improvements based on your findings and analysis of motor and battery performance.
  • International Collaboration & Travel: Own supplier relationships for your powertrain components with support from the team. Get involved immediately in technical discussions with Chinese suppliers. Travel to China and Asia to personally manage supplier relationships and resolve technical issues. Be the point person for specific supplier communications while building your confidence. Learn supplier management through direct involvement rather than observation. Build your international network through hands-on supplier relationship work.
  • Product Innovation & Quality: Contribute to new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Support quality control testing and validation procedures. Learn regulatory compliance requirements for international markets. Assist with custom test equipment design and development projects. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Enthusiasm for learning and professional development in e-mobility sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes

Technical Foundation:

  • Understanding of electrical systems and circuit analysis
  • Mechanical engineering principles and design concepts
  • Familiarity with engineering software (CAD, simulation tools, or data analysis)
  • Knowledge of BLDC motors, battery systems, or e-mobility applications preferred
  • Interest in sustainable technology and e-mobility solutions
