Core Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Manage internal ICT systems, network infrastructure & associated services to support secure & efficient operation of the Corporate IT & Operational Technology (OT) networks in our datacentre facilities & office locations.
  • Support the installation, commissioning & testing of new network hardware & software.
  • Own the identification, resolution & escalation of technical issues across network hardware & software.
  • Evaluate, validate & implement critical vendor updates to network infrastructure.
  • Deliver responsive on-site support to network users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage & prioritise internal service requests, escalating to the Network Operations Manager where necessary.
  • Develop, prepare & govern IT change control documentation in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor & analyse device security & event logs to proactively identify risks, issues or threats.
  • Maintain & continuously improve network configurations & documentation.
  • Conduct & document regular visual inspections of network infrastructure to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure reliable BMS / OT network performance.
  • Partner with the Security Team to support & enhance Security network operations.
  • Provide hands-on support & troubleshooting for site IT hardware & network connectivity when required.
  • Monitor & manage datacentre IT network performance, targeting 99.99% uptime.
  • Provide operational support & technical guidance to the Maintenance & Security teams.
  • Own the optimisation, reporting & performance metrics of our Building Management (BMS) systems.
  • Drive efficiency improvements in collaboration with the global IT team.
  • Support cross-site collaboration by assisting other datacentres with troubleshooting & technical guidance.
  • Coordinate & deliver IT hardware setup & system access for new employees alongside the global IT team.
  • Own ICT budget planning, forecasting & OPEX control, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Manage external IT service providers, coordinating support when required to meet business needs.
