Pure Data Centres is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to support the business in responding to the increasing sustainability requirements of customers, investors, lenders, regulators and strategic partners. The role will act as the central coordination point for sustainability information, ensuring that accurate, consistent and defensible sustainability data, disclosures and performance information are available to support commercial growth, project development and corporate reporting.
Working across Sustainability, Finance, Legal, Development, Delivery and Commercial teams, the successful candidate will help translate complex sustainability information into meaningful insights that support investment decisions, customer engagement and business strategy. As Pure continues to expand internationally and engage with increasingly sophisticated stakeholders, this role will play a critical part in demonstrating the company's sustainability performance, managing disclosure requests and strengthening the evidence base behind sustainability claims and commitments.
Core Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Customer, Investor and Lender Support: Lead the coordination and preparation of sustainability information required by customers, investors, lenders and strategic partners. Ensure responses to due diligence requests, ESG questionnaires, sustainability assessments and financing-related disclosure requirements are accurate, consistent and aligned with corporate disclosures.
- Sustainability Data & Intelligence Management: Develop and maintain the systems, datasets and supporting evidence that underpin Pure's sustainability reporting and stakeholder communications.
- Reporting & Disclosure: Support the delivery of corporate sustainability reporting programmes and external disclosures.
- Business Insight & Strategic Analysis: Provide analysis and insights on sustainability performance, emerging trends and stakeholder expectations.
- Sustainability Communications & Content Development: Support the development of sustainability content used across customer submissions, investor materials, funding documentation and corporate communications.
- Frameworks, Ratings & Benchmarking: Support the management of sustainability assessments, ratings and benchmarking exercises.
- Governance & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of sustainability processes, reporting controls and data governance arrangements across the organisation.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical and capable of working across large volumes of technical information. They will be comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders, synthesising complex data and producing concise outputs that support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, corporate reporting, investment analysis, consulting or data-driven business functions. They should possess strong communication skills, an ability to manage competing priorities and a keen attention to detail.
Experience supporting investor due diligence, customer sustainability requests, ESG reporting programmes, sustainability ratings, financing transactions or corporate sustainability disclosures would be highly advantageous. 1-2 years' experience in data management, analysis. Experience with data analysis software such as PowerBi or similar, and demonstrate ability to convert large data sets into insights and useful information.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to prioritise competing requirements. Good communication skills, transferable stakeholder management experience. Degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, STEM or related discipline.
