Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Lead Engineer to ensure the reliability, compliance, and performance of mechanical systems in a mission-critical data centre. You will lead maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, manage vendor works, and support operational improvements to guarantee 100% uptime.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems such as CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs
• Manage vendor works and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support root cause analysis and operational improvements for mechanical incidents

Qualifications

• F-Gas Cat 1 certification (City & Guilds)
• 4+ years’ experience in HVAC/mechanical systems
• Knowledge of data centre HVAC plant, BMS/PPM/CAFM systems, and PtW processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, methodical approach
• Legionella awareness and safe mechanical practices

Skills and Attitude

• Experience maintaining pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and related systems
• Knowledge of international HSE standards
• Previous experience managing a small team
• Customer-facing experience and ability to handle challenging technical situations
