We are the Pure Group, and we’re looking for a Process & Change Manager to play a pivotal role within Pure, acting as the central authority for Group-wide process governance and change delivery.

Who Are We? The Pure Group was formed with the primary focus to disrupt the market and has grown into a leading group of companies specialising in end-of-life and later-life planning – including funeral plans, insurance products and cremation services. We’re fast-moving, high-growth, and entrepreneurial, with a direct-to-consumer model and FCA regulation. We’re proud to be the market leader, with phenomenal brand awareness, and more 5-star Trustpilot reviews than any of our competitors. We take pride in our Pure Values – we Care Deeply about our customers and each other, we Take Accountability for everything we do, and we Never Settle for second best. Working at Pure means joining a diverse, passionate, and growing team that truly makes a difference.

Job purpose: The role ensures that all transformation initiatives are aligned, structured, and consistently executed, enabling sustainable adoption and measurable business impact across the organisation. You will define and own the process and change strategy, eliminating silo working, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that change initiatives are not only delivered but sustained. Operating as a stand-alone senior role, you will combine strategic leadership with hands on delivery, shaping what good looks like whilst personally driving process improvement, re-engineering, and “change adoption” across the business.

Summary of responsibilities and duties:

  • Define, own, and implement a consistent, scalable process and change framework across the organisation
  • Establish governance, reporting, and visibility of all change initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities
  • Act as the central point of coordination for change, connecting initiatives across departments and eliminating silo working
  • Develop and own the organisation’s process strategy, ensuring it supports growth, operational resilience, and customer experience
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and missing components, re-engineering processes to deliver measurable improvements
  • Personally map, analyse, document, and redesign end to end processes using recognised methodologies (e.g. Lean, BPMN)
  • Create and maintain clear process documentation, SOPs, and training materials, ensuring accessibility and version control
  • Lead and deliver cross functional transformation initiatives, from discovery through to implementation and embedding
  • Drive stakeholder engagement at all levels, influencing senior leaders and challenging constructively where required
  • Assess change readiness and lead all aspects of change delivery including communications, training, and adoption
  • Partner with technology and data teams to translate process requirements into system and automation opportunities
  • Monitor adoption, performance, and benefits realisation, ensuring change is sustained and delivers tangible outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring processes meet regulatory and compliance requirements (including FCA expectations)
  • Build and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation

Skills: You’ll need to have:

  • Proven strong track record - operating at a senior level in business process, change, and/or business transformation roles within fast paced or high growth environments
  • Demonstrable track record at a senior level in delivering complex, cross functional change and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong confident knowledge of process mapping and optimisation methodologies (Lean, BPMN or similar)
  • Strong track record defining and implementing change frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Agile or equivalent)
  • Proven strong track record in operating as both strategic lead and “confidence inspiring” hands-on delivery expert
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, governance, and working within regulated environments
  • Proven track record aligning process design with technology, automation, and data capabilities
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior and executive level

Personal Attributes:

  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to break down silos and build alignment across the organisation
  • Resilient and comfortable operating in ambiguity within a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Pragmatic, commercially aware, and focused on delivering tangible business outcomes
  • Strong, clear communicator, able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Credible presence, able to instil confidence at all levels
  • Confidence to challenge positively and constructively
  • Proactive, motivated self-starter - comfortable operating as a stand-alone role with high levels of ownership, positively and constructively collaborating with others as a team when required
  • Strong attention to detail - detail orientated with a passion for process excellence and continuous improvement

Our Benefits:

  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Bupa Health Cash Plan
  • Life Assurance
  • Company Pension or SMART Pension option
  • Family-friendly occupational benefits
  • Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 support
  • Comprehensive Induction and Learning & Development Academy
  • Discounted Gym Membership and Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Friendly, supportive modern working environment with free on-site parking
