We are working with a welcoming and well-established 35-bedded nursing home in West Molesey to recruit a reliable and practical Maintenance Person to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous maintenance experience who enjoys keeping a care home safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly.

Role Details

  • Position: Maintenance Person
  • Location: West Molesey
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday only
  • Pay: £15.00 per hour
  • Setting: Nursing Home – Elderly Care

About the Role

As the Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for helping to ensure the home and its facilities are safe, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard. You will work closely with the management team to identify and address maintenance issues, carry out general repairs, and help maintain a comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs throughout the home
  • Complete routine checks and identify any maintenance issues
  • Ensure communal areas, bedrooms, and facilities are kept safe and well-maintained
  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly
