We are currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury, purpose-built Residential Care Home near Rickmansworth who are looking for Senior Care Assistants to join their dedicated team and work 3 set shifts per week.

This is a beautiful 40 bedded Care Home specialising in elderly care that is located close to both Rickmansworth and Croxley stations. The Home is a part of a long-established charity that operates a number of Nursing and Residential Care Homes across the UK and can offer fantastic opportunities for progression.

They are seeking passionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistants (preferably with previous care home experience) to join their care team on permanent contracts. As a Senior Carer you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care team.

These are full time, permanent Senior Care Assistant roles paying a fantastic £15.60 per hour (Rate increasing in April) with paid breaks and working 7:00am-9:15pm shifts. Set shifts are available working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred and Senior Carer candidates will need to be medication trained.

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

  • To supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
  • To provide leadership and support to the care assistants
  • Administer medication
  • Update and review care plans & risk assessments
  • Shift leading
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and families
