We are seeking a qualified Room Leader to support the baby room at a well-established Nursery in Staines. You will need to provide a stimulating environment for the children in the Nursery which enables them to develop to their full potential.

As Room Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of your room, take responsibility for the care, well-being and safety of all children and staff, and be approachable for parents and colleagues. You’ll also play an active role in the senior management team, help to induct, train, coach, mentor and supervise Nursery Practitioners, and ensure that high standards of care and education are always maintained.

Requirements:

  • A level 3 qualification in either Early Years or Childcare
  • At least 1 year experience working as a Room Leader.
  • Background working in a nursery setting.
  • Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding OFSTED requirements and current legislation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

The Role:

  • Room Leader (progression to Deputy Manager)
  • 8am-6pm shift times
  • 5 working day week
  • One day will be a half day (8-12 or 9-1)
  • Working within the baby room
  • £30,000-£32,000kpa
