We are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Residential Team Leader to join a welcoming residential care home based in the Bideford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Team Leader or a senior care professional looking to develop their leadership skills while making a real difference to the lives of others. The service supports over 10 residents, including younger adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. As a Residential Team Leader, you will help ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care, promoting their independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. The Role As a Residential Team Leader, your responsibilities will include: * Leading and supporting a team of care staff to deliver excellent standards of care. * Supporting residents with their daily routines, personal development and individual needs. * Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion. * Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and kept up to date. * Supporting staff with guidance, supervision and day-to-day leadership. * Maintaining accurate care records and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed. * Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues. The successful Residential Team Leader will be passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, with a genuine commitment to improving residents' lives. Working Hours and Benefits This is a full-time, permanent Residential Team Leader position offering 37.5 hours per week and an excellent starting salary of £15.03 per hour. The shift pattern offers a great work-life balance, with only one weekend in every three weeks: * Week 1: Monday to Friday * Week 2: Monday to Thursday * Week 3: Saturday and Sunday, plus one weekday Shifts will consist of a mixture of long and short days. Requirements To be considered for this Residential Team Leader opportunity, you will need previous experience within a care setting, strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
