We are excited to advertise an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our warm, welcoming early years setting as a Toddler Room Leader. This is a key leadership role for a dedicated Nursery Room Leader who thrives on supporting children’s development while inspiring and guiding a team.
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the toddler room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 2–3 years. You will plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS, supporting each child’s individual needs and development. A strong, child-centred approach is essential for any successful Nursery Room Leader.
The ideal Nursery Room Leader will lead by example, offering support, mentoring, and clear direction to room staff. You will work closely with management, contribute to observations and assessments, and build positive relationships with parents and carers. This Nursery Room Leader role is perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility and takes pride in high-quality early years practice.
We are looking for a Nursery Room Leader who holds a relevant Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years and has previous experience working as a room leader or senior practitioner. A sound knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and EYFS requirements is essential for any Nursery Room Leader applying for this role.
