We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our well-established nursery in Walthamstow. This nursery offers an innovative early year's education programme, in an attractive and modern setting. This larger size nursery caters for children from the ages of 0 to 5 with an engaging curriculum and clear steps to support the children with their development. They are part of an established company, with a good OFSTED report.
The ideal Nursery Manager candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for early years education and the ability to manage independently, grow the nursery, and maintain high standards across all areas of practice in line with the EYFS framework. This is a full-time permanent position working 35-40 hours a week, paying a strong salary £40-45k (DOE).
Nursery Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in early years, with at least 2 years as Nursery Manager
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Confident in speaking and meeting with Ofsted and the Local Authority
- Level 3 or 5 in Childcare / Early Years Education
Nursery Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily tasks, staffing, and compliance of the nursery
- Lead, support and develop a team of early years professionals
- Maintain high standards in care, education, health & safety and strong relationships with both the parents and the staff
- Drive continuous improvement and growth of the nursery
