We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our well-established nursery in the heart of Hornsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a childcare professional who is passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in their career.

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the overall leadership of the nursery, supporting the Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance. You’ll be responsible for helping to lead a committed team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment, and ensuring that every child receives the nurturing, engaging, and enriching experience they deserve.

You’ll work closely with staff, children, and families, helping to maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, while ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. Whether it’s guiding staff through the EYFS curriculum, monitoring children’s development, or stepping in to lead rooms when needed, your leadership and support will be vital to the smooth running of the nursery.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education and have previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursery role. A thorough understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and EYFS is essential, along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

In return, we offer a competitive salary between £33,000 and £38,000 (dependent on experience), opportunities for ongoing professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a warm, supportive setting that truly values its team.
