Cook Position in a Care Home just outside of Great Malvern. We are working with a welcoming and well-established 50-bedded nursing home to recruit a reliable and passionate Cook to join their friendly kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cook who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals while making a genuine difference to the daily lives of elderly residents in a warm and supportive care environment.

- Location: Just Outside of Great Malvern
- Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm, minimum 3 shifts per week
- Pay: £13.75 per hour (Paid Breaks)

About the Role
As the Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements and preferences. You will play an important role in enhancing residents' wellbeing through enjoyable mealtimes while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for residents
- Cater for a range of dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and food storage
- Work closely with care staff and management to ensure residents' needs are met
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Previous Chef or Cook experience, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dietary requirements for older people is desirable
- Food Hygiene Certificate preferred
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- A caring and positive attitude with a passion for providing quality meals
