We are supporting a well-regarded 30-bedded residential home in Cardiff that is looking to recruit a passionate and creative Activities Coordinator to join their friendly team. About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of engaging, person‑centred activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities. You will play a key role in promoting social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a positive daily experience for residents within a warm and supportive care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver daily activities for residents
- Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents
- Adapt activities to suit individual needs and preferences
- Work closely with care staff and management to support residents' wellbeing
- Organise group events, celebrations, and one‑to‑one activities
- Maintain records of activities and resident engagement
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or in a similar role is desirable
