We are working with a well-regarded, 40-bedded nursing home in Romford to recruit a passionate and creative Activities Coordinator to join their friendly team. - Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (08:00am – 4:00pm) – No weekends

About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of engaging, person-centred activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities. You will play a key role in promoting social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a positive daily experience for residents within a warm and supportive care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver daily activities for residents
- Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents
- Adapt activities to suit individual needs, including those living with dementia
- Work closely with care staff and management to support residents’ wellbeing
- Organise group events, celebrations, and one-to-one activities
- Maintain records of activities and resident engagement
Requirements
- Previous experience in an activities, care, or similar role is desirable
