Packaging/Graphic Designer

My client is looking for a Packaging/Graphic Designer. Ideally an all round Graphic designer who will get stuck in to most things Graphic Design. It is an exciting role for someone to join a growing business where you will have an input into many of its products. The main duties are set out below * Direct report to CEO nd Head of Design. * Creating style guides and new brands * Working with existing style guides and creating packaging for new items * Taking existing packaging creations and adapting and or changing to fit new briefs for customer exclusives * Working with customer own label style guides and creating new packaging for existing items * Working closely with PD assistant and CEO on packaging themes and ideas * Creating instruction sheets for items that make it to order stage * Working with internal teams to deliver packaging files for mock up * Working with overseas factories and the China office to deliver all packaging files ready for orders and production * Creating internal packaging for products such as layouts for plastic insert trays, inner card trays etc * Ability to work with photography, rendering of images to apply on packaging backdrops * Create die lines for packaging * Prepare decks for customer presentations The person for this role possesses: * High attention to detail * Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment * Minimum 3 years’ experience working in packaging design * Comfortable working in deadline driven environment * Enjoys working with a brief but also able to work independently and deliver on schedule Only relevant candidates will be contacted
