About the Role
We are working with a well-established and fast-growing consumer products business that develops and supplies innovative, design-led products to some of the UK’s leading retailers.
They are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join their team and play a key role in growing their presence across the grocery and mass-market retail sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven account manager who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans that deliver sustainable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strong relationships with existing national grocery and mass-market retail accounts, acting as a key point of contact.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, presenting product ranges and commercial propositions to prospective customers.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with sales and business objectives.
- Set and manage sales targets, promotional strategies and customer initiatives.
- Lead commercial negotiations around pricing, terms and promotional activity.
- Work closely with marketing, product development and supply chain teams to support product launches, campaigns and stock requirements.
- Provide customer and market insight to help influence future product development and commercial strategy.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting and analysis against targets.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and changing consumer preferences across the stationery, arts, crafts and activity categories.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows and relevant industry events, with regular UK travel required.
About You
We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager with a strong commercial background and proven experience managing strategic retail accounts.
