ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Retail Assistant to join our Shop Kit Kemp store in Ham Yard, London.
With excellent customer service experience and a warm, friendly personality, you will greet every client and ensure they receive a genuine 5-star experience while in the store.
This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile individual who lives and breathes the Kit Kemp philosophy - championing British craftsmanship, exceptional interiors and uncompromising attention to detail.
As the face of the brand, you will provide an intuitive and personalised experience for both store customers and hotel guests.
You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, maintaining impeccable standards at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a warm, intuitive and seamless 5-star customer experience, ensuring every customer feels welcomed, valued and well-informed.
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge across all Shop Kit Kemp retail categories, including:
- Furniture, Home accessories, Art, Gifting, Dining, Fragrance, Bath & body &
- Customisation services
- Actively drive retail performance by confidently recommending products, converting browsing into sales and supporting sales targets.
- Manage furniture consultation bookings by coordinating with the Head Office team and ensuring the store is prepared for appointments.
- Liaise closely with the
Head Office team to support smooth daily operations, inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Coordinate with the Ham
Yard Hotel team to ensure guest orders and requests are followed up promptly.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation across both the shop floor and stock areas in line with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Respond to customer telephone and email enquiries accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Support the wider Retail and Creative teams with stock management, operational tasks, and other ad hoc duties.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Experience within a luxury retail, design or interiors environment is advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- A genuine ambassador for the Kit Kemp brand and its unique products.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly regarding stock management, inventory control and visual presentation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence in handling customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally with a solution-focused approach.
- A positive, flexible and proactive attitude with excellent multitasking skills.
- The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
