I am looking for an experienced Sales / Account Manager with supplier experience in ladieswear. My client is a successful ladieswear supplier looking for an Account Manager to join their team. They supply to a selection of young high street fashion online brands and high street brands, focusing on soft woven separates.
They are looking for a dynamic, driven Account Manager with the energy and passion to drive the business forward with those accounts. This is a very detailed role within a busy company, where you will manage the account in terms of product, costings, meetings, and critical path.
You should have experience within a supplier background, managing costings and negotiating prices, as well as managing accounts of your own in the past.
Job Overview:
- To manage client relationships, drive sales, negotiate, and secure orders.
Major Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.
- Understand customer needs and customer profile.
- Highlight and push new products together with designers.
- Calculate customer garment prices.
- Negotiate price/delivery with customers.
- Monitor in-store sales performance.
- Order taking, receive and review customer orders.
- Manage problems, including delivery extensions.
Internal Duties - Sales:
- Request garment costing.
- Negotiate best price and payment terms with fabric agents.
- Liaise and negotiate with production on customer delivery dates.
- Ensure fabric problems are resolved.
- Monitor sales targets for each customer.
- Keep track of overall net margin on each customer.
