My Client are an up and coming Online fashion Ladies Brand who are looking for a Part time Footwear Tech to join their ever expanding team. The Footwear Technician will enable a smooth fitting and sealing process on multi product areas.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of around 5 years experience working as a Garment Tech, within a similar environment, brand or supplier.
- Multi product experience.
- Managed or had direct communication with factories regarding sealing and production.
- Excellent knowledge of construction.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment and work at pace while building relationships with customers and working as a team.
- Knowledge of correct methods of construction, sizing and quality.
- Experience in making amendments to samples/patterns and grading.
- Ability to manage their own workload and awareness of critical path.
- Confidence in working within tight deadlines.
- A confident personality with experience of working with buyers and designers.
- Understanding of minimal make standards and garment engineering to achieve quality within required cost price.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Knowledge of test reports.
