The ideal candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience designing graphics for apparel wear ideally for young high street jersey accounts. The designer must be confident and able to work within a fast paced environment. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO APPAREL EXPERIENCE ON GRAPHIC DESIGN.

Core Requirements:

  • Strong ability to identify current graphics and embellishment trends from catwalks to blog sites, translate into commercial product, and produce customer trend analysis presentation boards.
  • Feminine, on trend, and commercial handwriting.
  • Good knowledge of print and embellishment techniques and finishes.
  • Ability to work within design briefs.
  • Excellent and extensive knowledge and practical use of both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of print; able to produce high quality specification sheets for samples to be made in Turkey and liaise with Istanbul development office.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to situations and deadlines by keeping a level head, thinking outside the box, and working independently as well as in a team.
  • Some apparel design experience on ladies wear is ideal but not mandatory.
