Purcelloleary are currently recruiting on behalf of our client an Accounts Payable Officer for our Belfast Office. The successful candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and have a flexible approach to their work. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional development, with the potential to progress into an Accountant position, depending on career aspirations and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, both sales and purchases into a variety of systems
- Preparation of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment runs
- Monitoring client accounts payable mailboxes daily
- Bookkeeping and reconciliation of the accounts
- Any ad-hoc items required by the team
Qualifications:
- Proven record of accomplishment of accounts payable with a minimum of 2 years of relevant AP experience
- Bookkeeping skills
- Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience of accounting systems, such as Xero, Twinfield, Oracle Fusion, Workday is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong motivation to work in a fast growing, dynamic and challenging environment
- Valid work permit for UK
