To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a Supply Chain and Customer Service Co-ordinator.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for booking off raw materials which supply the site. They will also work closely with the Planning and Customer Liaison Manager to support the planning and customer service team in delivering a first-rate customer experience.

What you will do

  • Ensure all raw material stock usage is recorded on the MRP system, investigating stock discrepancies and maintaining a log of resolutions.
  • Maintain a transport log, recording pallet quantities delivered, customers delivered to, and all associated costs/savings.
  • Accurately process customer orders using the MRP system, ensuring business standard MOQ’s are met and raising non-conformance with customers as required.
  • Communicate changes to quantity or delivery dates with customers, keeping a record of all communications.
  • Expedite customer queries or questions efficiently, maintaining a record of all communications and resolutions.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full, maximizing throughput while minimizing plant downtime.
  • Communicate daily delivery requirements with the transport business partner(s), ensuring planned despatch times are met and achieving the best truck fill and price per pallet.

  • Core hours will be 40 hours per week.
  • The team shares shifts to ensure the office is staffed between 06:00 – 17:00.
