We are looking for a Specifications Technologist to join our Quality Team at our Buckingham site on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave.
Your Mission
You will be an integral part of the team that ensures compliance for product safety, legality, and authenticity in the production of Puratos products at all UK sites, ensuring compliance in accordance with UK and Group policies. This role will focus on the completion and maintenance of all finished product, raw material, and packaging specifications to a standard that complies with all relevant UK/EU legislation. It will involve liaising with R&D, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and raw material and packaging suppliers to ensure specifications are correctly completed in a timely manner. The role will manage the Supplier Approval process and respond to customer queries relating to ingredients, finished products and packaging specifications.
What you will do
- Creating Draft Specifications & Nutritional Information sheets for Development Products based on information provided by R&D.
- Writing finished product specifications on Puratos Ltd template or on customer supplied templates or web-based portals.
- Be the point of contact for all related queries for finished products, raw materials, and packaging specifications from all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Dealing with customer requests for technical information or escalating to other members of the Quality team for completion.
- Arrange the completion of customer self-audit questionnaires (SAQs).
