We are a fast-growing UK-based marketing agency that specialises in generating high-quality leads and booked appointments for roofing and construction companies. In the last 12 months, we've worked with 150+ clients and continue to scale rapidly with a team of 8 people. Our core focus is helping roofing companies grow using paid advertising, lead generation systems, and sales conversion processes.
We are now looking for a high-performing Sales Development Representative to help us convert warm inbound leads into booked sales appointments.
This is not a cold calling role. You will be speaking to warm leads only — people who have already enquired about our services or engaged with our ads. Your job is to turn interest into booked appointments by:
- Building trust quickly over the phone
- Re-engaging cold or unresponsive leads
- Handling objections confidently and professionally
- Qualifying prospects properly
- Booking high-quality appointments for our closing team
- Increasing show-up rates by setting expectations and building excitement
You are often the first human conversation a prospect has with our company, so your ability to create trust and credibility is critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Call and follow up with inbound warm leads and previous enquiries
- Reactivate older leads who did not book or attend calls
- Qualify prospects based on fit, budget, and intent
- Handle common objections (cost, timing, skepticism, past agency experiences)
- Book qualified prospects into sales strategy calls
- Improve show-up rates through confirmation and light pre-call engagement
- Keep CRM/Trello updated with accurate notes after each call
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to improve lead conversion rates
What Success Looks Like
- High volume of booked appointments from warm leads
- Strong show-up rate to sales calls
- Well-qualified, relevant prospects entering the pipeline
- Prospects arriving at calls engaged, informed, and interested
- Consistent daily call activity and disciplined follow-up execution
What We're Looking For
- Confident and natural phone communicator
- Strong ability to build rapport quickly
- Skilled at handling objections without sounding pushy
- High emotional intelligence and ability to read people
- Comfortable speaking to business owners
- Experience in SDR, telesales, appointment setting, or phone-based sales preferred (not essential)
- Highly organised and consistent with follow-ups
- Coachable, competitive, and performance-driven mindset
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Trades or construction industries (roofing especially)
- Marketing, lead generation, or agency environments
- High-ticket service sales
What We Offer
- £50,000 OTE (£20,000 base + commission)
- High-quality warm inbound leads (no cold prospecting)
- Clear scripts, systems, and training provided
- Fast-growing agency with strong progression opportunities
- Opportunity to move into closing or leadership roles
- Performance-based bonuses and incentives
- High-performance but supportive team culture
How to Apply
Please send:
- A short introduction about yourself
- Relevant sales or phone experience
- Why you think you'd be effective at booking appointments from warm leads
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a short role-play or mock call as part of the interview process.
