The Blue Ball is a busy seaside pub in the beautiful village of Sidford in East Devon. We are looking for an enthusiastic management company with fresh ideas to maintain the pub's epic reputation and take the business to the next level.
With a passion for great food, our ideal partner will have the skill to implement a delicious menu from a fast-paced kitchen whilst guaranteeing an excellent guest experience. With a strong focus on quality and delivering an epic service, you will lead and inspire your team to be the best.
The Blue Ball stands in a prominent roadside location on the busy A3052 which runs along the East Devon coastline. With great curb appeal, it is the epitome of a quintessential Devon pub and is guaranteed to entice passers-by. The Blue Ball dates back hundreds of years but was completely rebuilt in 2007 following a disastrous fire. It was reconstructed with much regard to its original character, and so its open fires, quirky wall finishes, traditional beams, and snug areas maintain the pub's original charm perfectly.
The Blue Ball also boasts a large function room, 8 en suite guest rooms, a stunning wrap-around beer garden, and a car park for 100 vehicles. This is a truly multi-faceted business that, together with a great team and enthusiasm to engage with both locals and tourists, will be an epic pub for years to come.
There is plenty on offer within just a short drive of the pub, including the Regency town of Sidmouth with plenty of heritage and beaches, the county town of Exeter, and the delights of Beer. This seaside pub is a magnet for locals and tourists alike, all looking for a home-from-home experience.
Ready to kick start your own Management Company, manage your own team, and define your own wage structure? Love working closely with an Operations Manager in providing the right management services to build an incredible pub legacy with uncompromising standards and standout guest experience? Then the Punch Management Partnership Contract is the perfect option.
Alongside tonnes of day-to-day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top-line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub. It's your structure to own. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.
In Management Partnerships, we love pub-obsessed Management Companies with an entrepreneurial spirit that can help us lead the industry. We love to engage Management Companies that help us create pub legacies that stand the test of time and become the hub of their community. We get that every pub has its own distinct character, so our Operations Manager will work closely with the Management Company to understand the true identity of the business; we can then help support and amplify this as part of the Management Partnership model.
