The Blue Boar presents a great opportunity to create a pub that will be widely recognised as the best pub in Ludlow. Through design, offer and most importantly your leadership and guest experience an epic pub will be born.
The Blue Boar will receive a significant investment and relaunch under the Management Partnership agreement in September, with building and remodeling works to ensure the pub can attract locals as well as guests from far and wide. The heart of the pub will be the traditional bar with scrub topped tables and tiled and worn floor boards, along with a warm cosy snug with open fire.
The Blue Boar is a stunning Town Centre Grade 2 listed pub with all the stunning original features you would expect, cosy dining rooms, tap room, courtyard and function room. The Blue Boar is located on the best street in this picturesque town Ludlow, just a stone's throw from the Castle, the main Market Square and the theatre.
Ludlow is famous for its Food Festival, Farmers Markets, Specialist food shops, Town Brewery using local hops, and as for the Arts the Ludlow Assembly rooms host live and streamed music, theatre, stand-up comedy and talks, also acting as an arts community centre. Ludlow is home to Rooftop Theatre Company.
On the sports front, Ludlow has a Rugby Union team, and 2 cricket teams in the League Division, Ludlow also has its own Racecourse and Golf Club situated just 2 miles northwest of the town centre.
