Overlooking the picturesque green, the Three Swallows pub is full of character, featuring two blazing fires during the cold winter months. The ideal operator will take full advantage of the converted barn annexe with four double bedrooms and complete en-suite facilities.
The Three Swallows is a beautiful pub near to the sea. The ideal operator will be a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail and committed to delivering the everyday brilliantly. You will set an ethos of camaraderie and recruit for personality. You will also be the ultimate host, making guests feel relaxed and reassured in your company as you exude confidence and pride in your pub.
We are looking for the operator who can ensure The Three Swallows will be the place to be all year round, with roaring fires in the winter and outside dining in the picturesque garden in the summer months.
The pub and location: Take the reins of a majestic pub in Cley that serves as the perfect respite for guests popping in for a quick pint after a long ramble in the salt marshes, fancying a romantic dinner or celebrating a family event. You will be a food enthusiast serving a freshly cooked and unpretentious menu all day. You will ensure that the pub and unique boutique chalets are impeccably clean for guests seeking to explore this picturesque area.
Your drinks range will focus on gin, whiskey, wine, and craft, with locally sourced Cask Ale. You will craft delicious weekly food specials and be mindful that the trade will be seasonal, so you will need to allow for some flexibility in the Winter months.
You are in for a treat in this area of natural beauty and wonderment. The sea, three-quarters of a mile away, is kept at bay by a high shingle bank. The expanse between the village and sea is part salt and part fresh marshland, with unique bird and plant life. Cley was the first Nature reserve in the country, starting a national movement of forty-seven Wildlife Trusts and over 2,000 nature reserves. North Norfolk is a great all-year holiday, weekend, or short break destination.
