Have you run a successful, multi-faceted business with over ten hotel rooms well-loved by locals for live sports, functions and live entertainment? If so, look no further than The Lambton Arms pub in Chester-le-Street.
The Lambton Arms is another sterling example of a brand new acquisition we have added to our portfolio to realise our ambition of becoming the Five Star UK pub company. After careful research and having crafted an internal and external bespoke investment plan, we're looking for a Five Star management partner. The Lambton Arms has bags of potential to excel and be entrenched within the community. Are you the talent with the key to unlock this pub's potential?
You’ll need experience of running a bustling town centre pub that caters to a diverse crowd. Whether it’s live sports, functions, entertainment, or a delicious meal, you’ll ensure your pub is the go-to venue for locals and visitors.
You’ll be running a slick open-plan trading area, split into a bar and a restaurant area complete with two function rooms. So, you will need the vision to maximise the potential of these versatile spaces for special, bespoke events. You will also oversee the impeccable running of eleven hotel rooms that cater to visitors, making it a popular choice for those coming to the area.
Ideal Management Partner
Strong community ties are essential at The Lambton Arms. The ideal operator will engage with the locals, know the best bands and live acts in the area, and wisely manage their entertainment budget to maximize returns. Food is an essential part of the offering, so you will need exceptional service and catering standards. Sunday lunches have a loyal following, and the ability to organise the team and deliver a large volume in a short period is crucial.
Your standards will need to be impeccable, from staff training and customer service to the presentation of trading and back-of-house areas. A keen eye for detail and the ability to get the best from the team are essential.
The Partnership:
Ready to run your own business, manage your own team, and define your own wage structure? Love working closely with an Operations Manager to build an incredible pub legacy with uncompromising standards and standout guest experiences? Then the Punch Managed Partnership is the perfect option for you.
Alongside day-to-day support and a brilliant framework to grow your business, we give you an uncapped cut of top-line turnover to pay yourself and your team - it’s your structure to own. We understand how important it is for the pub operator to completely own their team.
In our Partnerships, we love pub-obsessed entrepreneurs who help us lead the industry. We love to partner with people who help us create pub legacies that stand the test of time and become the hub of their community. We get that every pub has its own distinct character, so your Operations Manager will work closely with you to understand the true identity of your business. We can then help support you in amplifying this - it’s a partnership, after all!
