Summary
You’ll lead client accounts while also delivering standout marketing campaigns across digital, content, social, paid, and PR. You’ll be as comfortable leading client meetings and building relationships as you are writing social content or analysing campaign results.
This is a role for someone who thrives on the full marketing mix: strategy, account management, and hands-on campaign activation. You’ll balance the big picture with the detail, leading projects end-to-end while producing high-quality content that connects with audiences and drives measurable results.
Position Purpose
You’ll be the day-to-day lead for your clients, managing relationships, budgets, and campaign delivery. At the same time, you’ll directly contribute to marketing execution by creating content, writing copy, coordinating social calendars, and supporting PR, paid, and influencer activity.
This role is perfect for a marketer who loves being close to the work, combining account leadership with marketing execution to make sure every campaign is insight-led, on-brand, and high-performing.
Key objectives
- Lead several client accounts, building trusted relationships and act as the day-to-day point of contact, ensuring deliverables reflect their tone, brand, and goals.
- Plan, create, and deliver multi-channel campaigns across social, content, digital, PR, and paid media.
- Ensure campaigns are insight-led and performance-driven, with clear KPIs and regular reporting.
- Oversee all aspects of account delivery: budgets, timelines, client comms and onboarding.
- Monitor campaign and channel performance, reporting results back to clients with clear insights and recommendations.
- Drive opportunities for client growth by identifying trends, challenges, and new ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings, reviews, and strategic sessions to build collaborative relationships.
- Develop marketing plans across multiple channels, aligned to client goals.
- Write clear briefs for internal teams with objectives, messaging, and deliverables.
- Oversee rollout of campaigns including content, PR, social, paid activity, and influencer partnerships.
- Track, measure, and analyse campaign results; create actionable reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with creative, digital, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns are on-brand, cohesive, and high quality.
- Support new client opportunities and agency marketing when required.
- Write, proof, and publish engaging content across organic social, blogs, newsletters, and website updates.
- Manage content calendars and coordinate campaign assets across multiple channels.
- Brief creative and digital teams on campaign objectives, messaging, and deliverables.
- Support influencer partnerships and paid media campaigns alongside performance experts.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, accurate, and aligned with client tone of voice.
- Efficiently managing and optimising digital marketing and paid media budgets
- Proofing and amending content, making sure its fit for purpose and meeting best practice standards
- Creative copywriting for marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, blogs, websites, and more.
- Collaborate with the digital team to implement campaign tracking (e.g. UTM links, GA4 setup, goal tracking, reporting dashboards)
- Analyse campaign results and deliver clear, insightful reports and recommendations
- Stay close to platform, audience, and marketing trends, feeding insights back into campaign development and strategic planning
- Help conduct competitor audits and marketing analysis, offering ideas for differentiation and positioning
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Marketing expertise: 3+ years’ experience in marketing with hands-on skills in content creation, social media, and campaign management.
- Copywriting: Strong writing and editing skills across short- and long-form content (social captions, blogs, newsletters, paid ads).
- Digital fluency: Knowledge of social scheduling tools, GA4, SEO platforms, paid media dashboards, and content management systems.
- Client management: Proven ability to build relationships, manage accounts, and oversee campaign delivery.
- Creative collaboration: Ability to work closely with design, digital, and PR teams.
- Project management: Highly organised, with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Comfortable flexing between strategy, client comms, and hands-on marketing tasks.
