The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner with either an NVQ, BTEC, NNEB, CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in childcare and early years education or alternatively a BA Degree in Early Years Education from a UK or Overseas University. Alternatively, Qualified Teaching Status (QTS), Montessori Teaching Qualification or BA in Education would also be desirable.
Starting salary: £25,000pa - £35,000pa (Negotiable) + 12 weeks paid holiday and excellent further training and career progression opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with early years foundation stages and different areas of learning
- Fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Observing and assessing children's progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintaining accurate records of each child's development and milestones
- Playing games with children and supervising play
