Seeking a creative teaching assistant for our children to work alongside the class teacher. This would suit someone that is interested in pursuing a career in either early years education or a school and is seeking to gain more classroom experience. We will provide excellent further training and career progression opportunities.

Ideally, someone that is BA degree qualified from a UK university or overseas university or has a vocational qualification, additional certificates or training and good rapport with children.

Starting salary: £22,000- £23,000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, and other benefits.

Job Description:

  • Assisting teacher working with children in class
  • Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for them
  • Playing games with children inside and outside the classroom
  • Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times and following safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Assisting children on trips to places of interest like nature walks, art galleries and museums
  • Interacting with parents and updating children's records
  • Meeting milestones in their overall development
