We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse / Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team.

In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and safe environment.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, fostering positive interactions, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for childcare, excellent communication skills, and relevant nursery experience.

Duties

  • Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Assist in supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
  • Support management in implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.
  • Contribute to the management of daily routines and assist with administrative tasks related to childcare documentation.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities when supervising junior staff or volunteers, ensuring consistent quality of care.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and childcare best practices.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to support team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e. g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).

Or BA in Early Years Education from Uk or Overseas.

  • Or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification
  • Valid driving license is desirable for roles involving transportation or home visits.
  • Passionate about early childhood education with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment.
