Early Years Teacher
We are seeking a Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant childcare team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and personalised care.

Hours
Monday - Friday , 25 hours a week, Term Time Only, 12 weeks paid holidays, excellent further training and career progression opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and confidence among children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Lead and manage a team of nursery assistants and practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
- Organise daily routines, including arrival, departure, rest periods, and outdoor play sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early years curriculum standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification recognised within the UK (e. g., BA in Early Years Education from UK or Overseas, QTS, Qualified Teaching Status, Early Years Teaching Status or PGCE).
- Childcare experience combined with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
