Seeking an Early Years Educator, ideally suited for someone that has a BA degree qualification in early childhood studies from a UK university or overseas university, alternatively QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or Montessori Teaching Qualification. Alternatively, candidates may have a vocational qualification, such as CACHE or NVQ, BTEC Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Early Years Education and be passionate about working with children.
Starting salary: £26,000 - £33,000 pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays.
Job Description:
- Working with children in class
- Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for them in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
- Updating records and carrying out observations
- Playing games with children and supervising play
- Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times
- Following safeguarding policies and procedures
- Assisting children on trips to places of interest like nature walks, art galleries and museums
