Seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Early Years Practitioner to work alongside our children. Ideally, someone that is BA degree qualified from a UK university or overseas university or has vocational qualifications in childcare, early years qualifications, such as CACHE or NVQ, BTEC Level 2 or 3 and has previous experience working with children.

Starting salary: £26,000 - £32,000 pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Working with children in class
  • Planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children in line with early years foundation stages
  • Carrying out observations and updating records
  • Playing games with children
  • Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times and following safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Assisting children on trips to places of interest like nature walks, art galleries and museums
