Brand New Nursery in Worthing. Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned company that operates six nurseries in the South Coast. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Scandinavian Forest School approaches and are looking for someone who shares the same passion.
This role requires a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education or equivalent, experience working within a Nursery or School setting, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, people first approach and a genuine passion for giving children the best possible start in life.

The Role of a Senior Educator:
- To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- To be aware of Pumpkin Patch’s policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
- Use their knowledge of the areas of learning and understanding of how children learn to provide rich, varied and imaginative experiences that enthuse, engage and motivate children.
- To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with child protection and whistleblowing policies.
- To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your room, organising systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Establish strong relationships with families to foster a positive connection between the nursery and home.
- Adhere to the organisation's policies and procedures.
